Marabese Showroom: BedfordA modern take on natural materials
Here's another bathroom designed from the Bedford Marabese showroom, this time, the designer is Lou Marabese Jnr. The bathroom in Shefford was expertly fitted by Lewis Morey.
The beauty of natural materials is certainly a feature of this tranquil bathroom space. The lifelike textures of stone, concrete and wood provide the perfect canvas to offset the shiny chrome fixtures and dazzling whites of the sanitaryware, and the brilliant LED lighting ensures every single corner gets the attention it deserves!

This project's brief was to create a seamless living space whilst maximising natural lighting, keeping the surroundings bright and airy. The areas of renovation started with the main entrance, which carried through to various bathrooms, all following the same theme. The colour scheme was chosen around different beiges across a blend of wood and stone/concrete effect tiles.
To achieve the unbroken view in the larger floor areas, we went with Porcelanosa’s Bottega Caliza tile. With its beige concrete effect in a natural finish, it offered exactly what the client was hoping for in terms of style, and the large 120 x 120cm format, in turn, meant fewer grout lines.

Marabese Showroom: Milton Keynes
In our last blog in this series, we heard from Chloe who told us about the kitchen she designed for her home. This time we’ve moved onto Dez Ferguson who is also based in our Milton Keynes showroom, where he specialises as a Bathroom Designer. Dez's designs can be seen far and wide; also all over Bedfordshire since he previously worked from our Bedford store.
Dez has created countless dream bathrooms while he’s been in the industry for the past 20 years, so it wasn’t easy for him to pick a favourite design. However, one that recently stood out for him was a bathroom designed for a customer locally in Milton Keynes.

Marabese Showroom: Milton KeynesFeature floor: Explosion of patterns
This creative bathroom has unique and intricate designs written all over it… well, specifically on the floor! The eye is instantly drawn to the patterned Odyssey Grande Pentillie tiles as we have opted to keep the rest of the bathroom plainer in comparison.
The walls are covered in Porcelanosa’s Madagascar Natural tiles, which capture the natural stone effect. The soft grey hues add warmth to the room and perfectly complement the patterned tiles below.

Marabese Showroom: BedfordA clever division
This neat little bathroom has been conveniently sectioned off, with the toilet and small basin in one space, and the bathing area around the corner. The idea of separating the bathroom from the toilet offers greater privacy and hygiene whilst giving the room a hotel feel.
The toilet area is compact, fitting in a small basin, space saving back to wall toilet and storage unit.

We how have a Harry Potter inspired bathroom display at our Letchworth showroom and it has proved to be a massive hit with our customers! You won’t need a port key or Floo Powder to transport to Hogwarts Halls; the materials and sanitaryware have been carefully chosen to replicate bathrooms of the wizarding world.
The dusky colour scheme has been achieved with the mastery pick of tiles. The rectified 30 x 60cm ‘Reused Mud’ tile by Arpa is shown on the walls. This porcelain tile has a perfect mottled stone effect finish that looks as genuine as the real thing! The Reused collection is suitably named as it provides a fusion between vintage and modern styles.

Marabese Showroom: LetchworthA mix of the Victorian with modern
This charming bathroom has a Victorian theme on the walls using the classic V&A Puddle Glaze tiles. The Peacock Puddle Glaze gloss tiles create a gorgeous blue green backdrop – the alluring crackle glaze finish adds elegance and finesse.
The brick shape tiling is used up to half height and the smart V&A White Albion border gives the classic dado rail effect. In the bath area, the V&A White Plain Field tile is used on the top half of the walls to complete the traditional theme.
