A modern take on natural materials
Here's another bathroom designed from the Bedford Marabese showroom, this time, the designer is Lou Marabese Jnr. The bathroom in Shefford was expertly fitted by Lewis Morey.
The beauty of natural materials is certainly a feature of this tranquil bathroom space. The lifelike textures of stone, concrete and wood provide the perfect canvas to offset the shiny chrome fixtures and dazzling whites of the sanitaryware, and the brilliant LED lighting ensures every single corner gets the attention it deserves!
The Queens tiles by Azulev on the walls are a beautiful fusion of cement and stone, and here we have combined ‘Queens White’ and ‘Queens Land White’ tiles which have the soft linear details, typical of cement. The décor tiles provide variance in texture in the shower area behind the glass, setting it apart from the rest of the room.
The basin unit and storage cabinet by Deuco have a matt stone grey finish which blends in flawlessly with the wall tiles and wood effect flooring! The modular furniture is wall-mounted which gives the illusion of more space and leaves the floor clutter-free and easier to keep clean.
Tucked neatly between the basin and shower enclosure is the slimline Megan toilet by Phoenix. It has a short-projection back-to-wall pan and concealed cistern which keeps unsightly pipes hidden away. Also by Phoenix is the stylish shower, mixer tap, towel rail radiator and amazing illuminated mirror.
