Richard Hayes joined us at Marabese in November 2019. In this blog entry, he will be sharing one of his Specification Projects based in Bedfordshire featuring the Delice Gris tile:

Aiming to set up and move forward the Projects Department of Marabese's business has brought with it some interesting and enjoyable challenges. Introducing a new specification supplier into a vastly competitive marketplace was not going to be easy; creating a strong brand and reliable reputation was the key. Tapping into my years of experience was vital to getting the results we all wanted as a business.

Marabese specification: Delice floor tiles

This project was to transform a living space into a warm and welcoming environment, using mellow grey and taupe colours. The client initially had a seen a few samples, all of which would have offered the desired effect, however, none looked as perfect as Azulev's Delice tile.

With its warmer grey colour and natural stone effect patternings, Delice Gris is spot-on bringing about the colour palette chosen by Hot House Interiors for their client. The Delice Gris Matt 60 x 60cm porcelain tile was chosen after an initial meeting with the design team, going through the samples that best met the design brief.

The client is over the moon with the Delice tile, especially as its stone/marble effect look can be enjoyed without the upkeep of natural stone. With a high-end and sophisticated quality, the floor ties together the colour scheme of the room. No single piece appears out of place, resulting in an overall welcoming yet restful atmosphere.
