Marabese Showroom: BedfordA Classic Twist of Black and White
The eye is immediately drawn to the amazing ‘Reverie 3’ floor tiles by Unicom Starker and this black and white theme is followed through in the furniture and accessories.
You won’t find shiny chrome taps here. It was a clever choice to opt for black matt fittings giving a monochrome look which ties in beautifully with the tiles.

Marabese Showroom: Milton Keynes
In our last blog in this series, we heard from Chloe who told us about the kitchen she designed for her home. This time we’ve moved onto Dez Ferguson who is also based in our Milton Keynes showroom, where he specialises as a Bathroom Designer. Dez's designs can be seen far and wide; also all over Bedfordshire since he previously worked from our Bedford store.
Dez has created countless dream bathrooms while he’s been in the industry for the past 20 years, so it wasn’t easy for him to pick a favourite design. However, one that recently stood out for him was a bathroom designed for a customer locally in Milton Keynes.

Marabese Showroom: BedfordAll about the stone
The stony look of this bathroom has a natural appearance which could be compared to the beautiful interior of a cave. We have the same tile on the walls and floors – the delightful Choice Ash tile by Pamesa in a 30.3 x 61.3cm format.
Using the same tile throughout was chosen to achieve a coordinated look, with a sense of continuity. The effect is spa-like and minimalistic with the intention to make the small space appear larger. The tiles are an amazing combination of light grey and ash coloured tones which are blended to create an overwhelming natural look!

Marabese Showroom: BedfordMetallic Impressions
On walking into this elongated bathroom, the eye can’t help but be drawn towards the fabulous décor tiles by Dune. Appropriately named ‘Impressions’, the tile has a cement/stone look base, which is covered in impressionist styled brushstrokes. The enriching copper and rust stripes add a splash of shimmering colour, making the walls an abstract work of art. The accompanying ‘Hipster Metal’ tile also has a metallic effect look in a grey tone with rusty hues. It perfectly complements the Impressions tile and both are sized in the modern large format of 30 x 90cm.

Marabese Showroom: Milton KeynesFeature floor: Explosion of patterns
This creative bathroom has unique and intricate designs written all over it… well, specifically on the floor! The eye is instantly drawn to the patterned Odyssey Grande Pentillie tiles as we have opted to keep the rest of the bathroom plainer in comparison.
The walls are covered in Porcelanosa’s Madagascar Natural tiles, which capture the natural stone effect. The soft grey hues add warmth to the room and perfectly complement the patterned tiles below.

Marabese Showroom: BedfordSmall & dark is beautiful
A common thinking would be to choose a bright colour scheme for a relatively small space however this bathroom has gone against the rules. Besides, whites and metallics, which are a must-have in a bathroom look so much cooler against a dark background!
The wall and floor tiles are from the Interno 9 range by ABK in three different colours: Pearl, Silver and Dark. The gorgeous tile collection has the look of oxidised metals paired with the imitation concrete trend. The delicate finish of the tiles reflects the light, leaving a gentle shimmery surface.

Marabese Showroom: BedfordA clever division
This neat little bathroom has been conveniently sectioned off, with the toilet and small basin in one space, and the bathing area around the corner. The idea of separating the bathroom from the toilet offers greater privacy and hygiene whilst giving the room a hotel feel.
The toilet area is compact, fitting in a small basin, space saving back to wall toilet and storage unit.

Marabese Showroom: LetchworthModern and High-tech
Clean and bright, this bathroom has a classic finish with modern touches. The Marmol Carrara Blanco wall tiles by Porcelanosa are a timeless choice. The marble effect gives a luxurious finish to this bathroom while the RAK Ceramic's Lounge Dark Grey matt tiles contrast the bright white of the wall tiles for a contemporary feel.
The sanitaryware used in this bathroom makes great use of the generous space. The Eastbrook Celsius Bath features a sleek design that pairs perfectly with Eastbrook's Metro close to wall toilet. The simple designs keep this bathroom uncluttered and fuss free.
